Watching a dog struggling physically is a tear-jerking moment for every pet owner. However, some dog parents go all out to make sure their beloved fur babies don’t miss the simple joy of life because of their physical disability. Take these owners, for example, who help their tripod rescue dog swim in the following emotional video.
Rescue Pit Bull wants to go swimming in moving Instagram video
While many breeds are considered water-loving dogs, Pit Bulls don’t fall into this category. But every dog lover would agree that not all dogs are the same. That is why, despite not being a water breed, some Pitties love swimming. Moreover, this tripod rescue dog, Bruce, is no exception.
A moving Instagram video by @4pitsake has drawn everyone’s attention for showing a rescue Pit Bull swimming despite losing a limb, all thanks to the owners who helped the pooch without a second thought. The clip shows Bruce standing at the edge of the pool wishing “to swim like he used to with 4 paws.” However, he hesitates to take the plunge.
But the thoughtful pet parents come to the rescue by holding their fur buddy in the water. The feeling of being able to swim, albeit with some help, makes the canine visibly happy, “reminding him that he [is] unstoppable.” The swimming video of the tripod rescue dog with the caption, “We all need alittle help sometimes,” deeply touched netizens who took to Instagram to heap praises for Bruce. One of the individuals wrote, “Go Bruce Go.” Another person commented, “Wow! Great job Brucie.” Meanwhile, a user motivated the pooch by cheering him on: “Go Brucie, this is adorable!!”
Tripod dogs can lead a fit life provided they get proper care. However, owners have to make sure that the dog does not gain extra weight, as it might put extra strain on the remaining three legs. Even monitoring the dogs for complications or behavioral changes is essential for their healthy and active life.
