Instead of waiting for her owners to cater to her bedtime needs, this dog takes charge of the evening routine, making sure that everyone — her mom, dad, and herself — has a stuffed toy to snuggle with. This role reversal has gone viral, and Maisie’s new bedtime ritual is leaving everyone in awe of her thoughtfulness.

Maisie the Golden Retriever might just be the most considerate roommate ever. The TikTok video begins as the owner walks into the bedroom, only to discover Maisie sitting near the bed, holding a stuffed animal in her mouth. That alone would be cute, but it gets better. The dog has also thoughtfully placed one stuffed toy on her dad’s side of the bed and another on her mom’s side. Clearly, Maisie believes bedtime should be a shared experience, and nobody should go without a snuggle buddy.
As the owner pans the camera and explains what’s happening, she says, “When you come in your room and you see that your dog has put a stuffed animal for her dad, one for me, and then Maisie has one.” She then turns to Maisie and adds, “Thank you Maisie, that was so nice!” Maisie simply sits there, calm and seemingly unfazed by the praise, like this is just part of her nightly routine.
