Video: Paralyzed Dog Can’t Stop Zooming Around in New Wheelchair

For many dogs, movement is tied to their identity — be it zooming through the house or chasing toys in the yard. So when they develop a case of paralysis, it can feel like part of them fades. Nevertheless, a viral video of a paralyzed dog zooming around in his new wheelchair serves as a reminder to everyone just how life-changing the right support can be.

We’re so lucky that Tyrion loves his wheels! Not all dogs do unfortunately. Some feel too awkward or uncomfortable to even take a few steps. I feel really really lucky that T jumped into his and started zooming immediately ?

A heartwarming video shared on TikTok by user @diggydagg shows a paralyzed dog named Tyrion experiencing his “zoomies” again, all thanks to a new wheelchair. The clip begins with Tyrion’s owner carefully strapping him into a small, custom-built wheelchair. As soon as the setup is complete, Tyrion takes off around the house, clearly overjoyed to be mobile again. Moments later, the owner opens the front door, and Tyrion bolts out into the yard, zooming across the grass with unfiltered joy.

An onscreen caption reads, “POV: your dog gets a wheelchair and his personality comes back to life,” summing up the emotional impact of the video. Tyrion wags his tail non-stop, and there’s a visible brightness in his expression as he runs around freely. It is clear that he is not just being able to move again — he regained a part of himself that he had lost.

In the caption, his owner shares more insight: “We’re so lucky that Tyrion loves his wheels! Not all dogs do unfortunately.” She explains that some dogs struggle to adjust, feeling awkward or hesitant when first introduced to a wheelchair. “I feel really really lucky that T jumped into his and started zooming immediately,” she adds.

The video quickly struck a chord online, racking over 3.4 million likes and more than 13,000 comments. People were deeply moved by Tyrion’s transformation and cheered on his happiness. “Not to be dramatic but I’ll die for him,” one user wrote. Another chimed in, “I have no idea who invented wheelchairs for dogs but whomever it was they deserve a place in heaven.” Even YouTube’s official account joined in with a comment: “The way he’s smiling so big.”
