Video of Adopted Greyhound Turning Into a Tiny Ball at Bedtime Is Too Adorable

Big dogs and small spaces usually don’t go hand in hand, but sometimes, our pups surprise us with their preferences. Whether it’s squeezing into a box too small or curling up on the tiniest corner of the bed, they often find comfort in the most unexpected places. That’s what makes one adopted Greyhound’s bedtime habit so charming, as shown in a video that has now gone viral for being both adorable and oddly relatable.

Greyhound will only sleep in a tiny bed in viral video

A video shared on the Instagram account @misspoppy.thegrey shows Poppy, a rescued Greyhound, with a unique bedtime habit. In the short clip, her owner explains how the pup fell in love with a small, flower-print dog bed that originally belonged to her furry sibling. Rather than opting for a bed that matches her tall, lanky frame, Poppy prefers curling up into a ball on the little bed, often looking like a neatly folded dog bean.

The text overlay in the Instagram Reel walks viewers through her bedtime preferences. “Our adopted greyhound decided she liked our other dogs bed,” the in-video text reads. The owner, seeing how much Poppy loved it, bought her one of her own. The new dog bed is identical in style, with a pink floral pattern and raised sides for extra coziness.

The video cuts between shots of Poppy either flopped sideways across the small bed or tightly curled into a ball on it. “We thought she’d love a big bed,” her owner writes, “but actually she loves curling herself into a tiny ball.”

According to the owner, it can sometimes be tricky to keep track of which bed belongs to whom. As a result, they decided to scatter extra beds around the house to keep both their dogs content. In the video’s caption, they lovingly refer to Poppy as a “Greyhound bean,” praising her breed’s ability to fold up small despite their size.
