Naomi Watts’ ‘The Friend’ co-star Great Dane Bing sings on Jimmy Fallon’s show

Naomi Watts and Bing recently made an appearance on the latest segment of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The rising canine star had the audience in awe after joining the actor to promote their new film, “The Friend.” At one point, the talk show’s host, Jimmy Fallon, asked Watts if Bing could do any tricks besides acting in films. The 56-year-old then showcased her furry friend’s special talent.

Watts charmingly asked Fallon if he wanted to sing with her and added that they could make Bing join in. The star told the television personality they would do a “song without words.” Watts then hit a high note, and Bing, who was calmly resting on his fancy bed, quickly got up and began howling with his human co-star. As Fallon, too, joined, the furbaby momentarily looked around before continuing to flaunt his skills.

Bing undoubtedly stole the spotlight and even had the audience cheering for him. Besides that, Watts also gushed over acting with the talented canine during the talk show segment. She said, “He listens and hears everything.” Watts continued, “He absorbs all vibrations, all inconsistencies,” and added, “He’s just alert all the time.” The actor explained that “exchanging feelings with him is very easy.”

Watts didn’t stop there with the compliments for Bing. She also said, “He knows how to act,” and told Fallon she was “not kidding.” Meanwhile, the star duo’s film “The Friend,” which is set to hit select theaters on March 28, is based on the 2018 novel by Sigrid Nunez.
