Some nights, a king-sized bed is just not big enough when you share it with five furry companions. A video posted on Instagram by user @tfo300 details how she and her husband manage to squeeze in with their five rescue dogs for a cozy night’s sleep.
Owner shares video of her 5 rescue dogs and their ‘bedtime’ routine
The owner of the account @tfo300 invites viewers into her bedroom to witness a unique bedtime routine. With a light-hearted voiceover, she walks the audience through the process of how she and her husband manage to fit their five rescue dogs into their king-sized bed each night. The clip begins with her playfully dismissing any idea that her husband might object to sharing the bed with the dogs, affirming his unwavering support and love for their canine family.
She then introduces each of the dogs and their designated sleeping spots. The smallest of the pack, described as the “queen of the house,” takes her place in her own bed nestled between the heads of her owners. Next is the Lab-Pyrenees mix, who snuggles underneath the little pup.
The owner notes that her Pyrenees puppy often takes her spot, so a gentle nudge is required to reposition the pup towards the middle of the bed. Meanwhile, the Big Mama Pyrenees consistently sleeps by their feet, showing a preference for proximity to her humans. Finally, the Lab, who has a special fondness for his dad, curls up beside the husband.
The owner explains that while their two foster dogs do not share the bed, it’s only because the space is already full and they need their own designated area to sleep. Despite the crowded arrangements, she emphasizes that they all “sleep pretty well,” and would not have it any other way. “People think we’re crazy for doing this, but we love it. They are all rescue dogs, and we want them to have the best life,” she adds.
