Butler County man allegedly stabbed and killed wife’s dog, facing charges
Reportedly, a man has fatally stabbed his wife’s pet in Wayne Township, Butler County, Ohio. The suspect has been identified as Nicholas Jack George and has been arrested for cruelty towards a companion animal.
The gruesome case began on Sunday when George threatened his wife that if he were to kill her furry companion, she wouldn’t ever find him. The very next day, Bowie’s body was found. According to Fox 19, the dog was stabbed and killed on Monday, June 10. The Butler County dog wardens and detectives joined hands to lead the investigation.
The investigation led the authorities to Nicholas Jack George, who was then arrested and charged with cruelty to a companion animal. They booked him into the Butler County Jail on Tuesday, June 11. Moreover, Sheriff Richard K. Jones noted that cruelty towards animals won’t be tolerated, with cruelty towards companion animals being considered a fifth-degree felony.
In a similar case, a North Carolina woman stabbed her boyfriend’s puppy after chasing him with a knife. The German Shepherd pup Clementine was only two months old, per WBTV. Furthermore, the boyfriend’s furry friend was stabbed in the back and was lucky to survive the stabbing incident.
The dog stabbing took place in Gastonia, North Carolina, and the suspect has been identified as Leslie Hernandez-Paredes. She stabbed her boyfriend’s puppy on Sunday, June 2, and was arrested and booked into Gaston County Jail this Sunday, June 9. The 22-year-old was also charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon and cruelty to animals.
