The Osbourne Family Adopts Dog Previously Set on Fire

The Osbourne family has given a new lease on life to a dog who endured unimaginable cruelty. The family, famous for their love of animals and their own reality show antics, shared their latest act of kindness on an episode of “The Osbournes Podcast.” The Osbournes recounted how they came across a dog who had been horribly mistreated and decided to welcome him into their home.

The Osbourne family adopt ‘severely burned’ dog

Sharon Osbourne, the matriarch of the Osbourne family, recounted the moment she came across the dog on social media. “I was scrolling TikTok … and I saw this little angel, and he had been set on fire and left [behind], and he was very, very skinny,” she shared. Thankfully, a good Samaritan found the dog and entrusted him to the care of Underdog Heroes Rescue. The organization is dedicated to saving and rehabilitating animals that have been subjected to abuse. Sharon also expressed her admiration for the group’s lifesaving work. “Everything they do is to rescue dogs that have been harmed,” she said.

Jack Osbourne, Sharon’s 38-year-old son, acknowledged the outstanding efforts of the rescue organization in treating the dog. Moreover, Kelly Osbourne, 39, couldn’t fathom how someone could harm an innocent creature in such a horrific manner. “How can a human being do what was done to this dog?” she questioned. Continuing she further added, “I don’t understand how sick people can be.”

Despite the horrendous treatment the dog endured, Sharon described him as “the mellowest, most friendly dog ever.” What’s more, according to Kelly, the pooch was still full of love and happiness despite being horribly mistreated. Ozzy Osbourne, the family patriarch, also expressed his inability to comprehend the cruelty inflicted on the dog — per PEOPLE.

As the family bonds with their new addition, they are in the process of selecting a fitting name for him. Among the names being considered are Walter, Baby, and Porkchop, each with its unique charm and significance to the Osbournes. This adoption is not the family’s first venture into rescuing animals, as they have previously opened their home to other animals in need.
