Kevin Costner has welcomed a new dog into his home. The 69-year-old actor recently introduced his adorable pup to his Instagram followers. On Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, Costner shared photos of him with his new furry friend.

Kevin Costner announced a new love in his life on Instagram. He shared three sweet pictures where viewers can see his new puppy and Costner bonding with him. The doggo seems to be a white Labrador Retriever. The caption of Costner’s post reads: “Newest addition to the family. I’m already in love with this special guy.”
In one of the photos, the Yellowstone actor affectionately gazes at the puppy while leaning against the driver’s side of a black truck. In another photo in the carousel, he cradles the puppy in his arms, both looking at the camera. The final image is a solo picture of the furry animal with a black bone tag, looking extremely cute.
Costner hadn’t revealed the name of the pup yet. However, his followers have come forward to name the little puppy. People have suggested names like Crash and Kasey.
Many other users have left heartwarming comments. His Yellowstone co-star, Hassie Harrison, wrote, “Mr. Costner!!! That’s the cutest puppy ever!!! Congrats!!! I want to know what you name him!” Another user, kendallrayburn, commented, “Oh my goodness! Labs are just the best!”
Furthermore, Costner has shared photos of his grown-up white Labrador named Daisy in the past. Daisy made headlines in 2010 when she was photographed alongside Costner flying from California to Canada. They traveled together to help shelter dogs during wildfires in California. In total, Costner is reported to have eight or nine dogs as part of his family.
Besides his pack of dogs, Costner is a father to a large human family. He has three children, Annie (39), Lily (37), and Joe (36), from his marriage to Cindy Silva. He also has a son, Liam (26), with ex-partner Bridget Rooney. Additionally, with Christine Baumgartner, he shares Cayden (15), Hayes (14), and Grace (13).
