Jones Soda Launches New Drink for Dogs

Jones Soda Co. has ventured into the pet category with the launch of Jones Craft Dog Soda, according to a press release submitted to PR Newswire. The product line comes in three flavors initially: chicken stock, beef stock, and turkey and gravy. It is available exclusively on the company’s official website and Chewy, with more retailers set to pick up the line in 2024.

Jones Craft Dog Soda is for dogs and humans alike

Despite its name, Jones Craft Dog Soda is a non-carbonated drink with no sodium or sweeteners. Pet parents can serve it to their dogs as a “treat, hydration-booster, or delicious food-topper.” Developed in collaboration with veterinarians and dog owners, the company stated, “adventurous dog owners” can also try it.

Pet parents can submit photos of their pups, who will be featured on the product and future bottles will feature homeless dogs looking for a family. Customers can also gather and save their Jones bottlecaps to redeem prizes that include dog toys, leashes, and dog bowls through the company’s Caps for Gear loyalty program.

In a statement, Eric Chastain, President and COO of the Jones Soda Co. Beverage Division, said, “Looking at the millions of photos our fans have submitted to us over the years, it’s easy to see how much Jones fans love their pets!”

“Knowing how much our pets mean to us, a lightbulb went off when we brought back Turkey and Gravy, our fan-favorite seasonal flavor,” Chastain added. “And we couldn’t think of a better place to launch than Chewy, a trusted destination for pet parents and partners everywhere, who shares our sentiment that pets aren’t just pets, they’re more.”
