Olivia Munn adopted the pup when she was backstage at a charity event hosted by the Fox Network called Cause for Paws.

As per Woof Republic, talking about the adoption in a 2015 interview with Good Housekeeping, she revealed, “I wasn’t looking for a dog at all and then I saw this little guy and was like, ‘I have to have him.’”

Sharing further about adopting Chance, she mentioned in a 2017 essay for People magazine that she spent “all of 10 minutes together, I made a call to make sure I had the full support to bring him home and then adopted him right there on the spot!”
