The family loves dogs and was always eager to have one for their family. So, with the help of a trainer, Julie found Abe through Davis Doodles, located in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. After everything got finalized, someone drove Abe for 15-17 hours from Georgia to Minnesota to his forever home.
And when Kirk Cousins saw Abe for the first time, he instantly fell in love with the pooch. Recalling his encounter, the player told Vikings, “I walked in the front door … and he barked at me right away because he didn’t know who I was. He was already being protective.”
But now, the owner and his pet pooch are on “good terms” as Abe lets Kirk Cousins know if he “haven’t petted him in a while or he needs to get some love.”
