Westminster Dog Show Winners: Best in Show

Dubbed “America’s Dog Show,” the Westminster Kennel Club’s Annual Dog Show is the Super Bowl of pet shows, watched by millions of people across the country, each one hoping to cheer their favorite on to victory. The 2008 champion, a charismatic Beagle named Uno, howled his way into everyone’s hearts after being awarded the title of Best in Show. The 2009 winner, a 10-year-old Sussex Spaniel named Stump, became the oldest dog to ever win the Best in Show title at Westminster.

Want to experience the excitement in person? The 134th annual Westminster Kennel Club Annual Dog Show will take place at Madison Square Garden on February 15 and February 16, 2010. Over the two-day period, 169 dog breeds and varieties will be judged, and entry is limited to 2,500 Champion dogs.
