A woman who “didn’t want dogs” has gone viral after a video of her meticulously grating fresh parmesan on her dogs’ meals gained traction on TikTok. To add to the hilarity, a text overlay explains that the woman cooked the dogs’ gourmet meals herself.

It seems that she more than got accustomed to the idea of having canines in her living space; these two dogs are living their best lives. Check out the video above!

The woman’s daughter posted the TikTok with the caption, “This is what happens when you’re 31 and don’t give your European mother grandchildren.”

The two pups in the video, one clad in a pink dress and the other in yellow bandana, are seen patiently waiting for the final touch on their homecooked meal as “Che La Luna” by Louis Prima plays. The video is eight seconds of pure sweetness that you don’t want to miss!

Wait, Can Dogs Eat Parmesan Cheese?

The video may have you thinking about adding parmesan cheese to your own dog’s food. But can dogs safely eat cheese?

Well, most cheeses are safe to give dogs in moderation. If the pups in the video are getting regular exercise and eating parmesan on occasion, their special meal is safe for them to eat.

Cheese is a good source of protein and essential fatty acids, which are healthy for your pup in small doses.

It’s important to note that cheeses contain lactose, which can cause your dog to pass gas. Cottage cheese is a good cheese option for your dog because it contains minimal dairy content. Still, if your dog is lactose intolerant, it’s best to skip the cheese snacks.

Additionally, some cheeses should be avoided altogether. Blue cheese is one of these cheeses, as it contains a fungus that can be toxic to dogs.

Do you feed your pup a fancy meal every once in a while? Do you ever sprinkle a bit of cheese on their food like the woman in the video? Let us know in the comments below!
