Hot Firefighter Adopts Cute Puppy He Posed With For Shelter Fundraiser Calendar

When firefighter and sexy dude Rob Tackett posed for the Charleston Animal Society’s 2017 fundraiser calendar, he met Ms. March, a German Shepherd puppy named Kimber. The two got along great as the pup curled up in his arms, which was unusual, as her owner said that she didn’t usually like men. But look at that guy. What’s not to like?

Kimber’s owner at the time, Steve Hall, was an Afghanistan and Iraq war veteran suffering from anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder, and the puppy was his companion and helped alleviate his stress. Tackett the firefighter became friends with Hall and got to know Kimber over the months after the calendar photoshoot. But Hall fell ill and needed surgeries, and he found himself unable to care for Kimber. So he asked the only person he could trust with the pup, Tackett, if he would take her.

Tackett was happy to take Kimber home. She’s a certified PTSD dog, and with some training, Tackett hopes to bring the pup to visit veterans and help bring them some joy. If you want to see Tackett and Kimber along with other hot firefighters and cute pups, you can pick up the Charleston Animal Society’s 2017 calendar, which supports the shelter.
