Puppy Found Duct Taped In A Pillowcase And Left In The Rain Gets Rescued

A Good Samaritan was on the way to work in Woodstock, Illinois when he noticed a pillowcase moving on the side of the road. He pulled over his motorcycle and found that the pillowcase was sealed shut with duct tape and had been left out in the cold and rain. And when he pulled the pillowcase open, he found a small, three-week-old puppy inside.

The little dog was eventually brought to Hoof Woof and Meow, a rescue organization that helps animals find forever homes. When he arrived he was hungry because he hadn’t eaten for hours. Since he was a puppy, he needed nourishment right away. He was also kept warm, as being left in the cold and rain gave him a bad chill.  The rescue organization named the new puppy Woodstock after the town where he was found.

Since he was brought in, Woodstock’s littermates have been found, too, though the organization isn’t able to give details about how they came in. The investigation into Woodstock’s case is still going on. But all the puppies have been blended with other litters so they can still get a mother dog’s care. They aren’t quite ready for adoption yet, but Woodstock and his siblings should be ready for forever homes by the end of May. If you or someone you know are interested, you can fill out an adoption form. Also, please help share this story so that these cute pups can find a place where they’ll be loved and cared for.
