Desperate Puppy Mill Mom Hides Puppies In Wall

Oscar’s Law founder and advocate, Debra Tranter, snuck into a puppy mill in 2015, and documented the miserable conditions. This resulted in the removal of 16 dogs in need of medical care. The puppy mill was ordered to comply with animal welfare standards.

Upon visiting nearly a year later, Tranter said the mill had actually declined since her first visit and conditions were even worse than before.

One Beagle in particular caught her attention, and when she turned to leave she heard what sounded like puppies crying.

How could that be possible when no puppies were even in sight? The mama Beagle had delivered her puppies as far away as possible. Sadly, it wasn’t very far and wasn’t any better. She had managed to get inside a wall and seemed to be trying to protect them from her deplorable surroundings.

In addition to all of the unwanted dogs in shelters, here is one more reason why puppy mills should be eradicated. There is the constant neglect, cruelty and living conditions so filthy and so dirty that even this mama dog knew it wasn’t a safe environment for her precious pups.
