According to new reports the woman we all know from the viral video of her service dog comforting her was shot dead by police in Mesa, Arizona on Thursday.
Danielle Jacobs was shot and killed by police after she approached them with a knife in her hand.
Danielle had Asperger Syndrome and went viral when she released a video of her service dog Samson helping her work through what she called one of her “meltdowns.”
Police had been called to investigate a report of a suicidal woman. According to police she was shot when she came at them with the knife.
Samson will now live with Danielle’s mother.

Danielle was living as a transgender man who also went by the name Kayden Clarke.
