January 14 is National Dress Up Your Pet Day. My childhood dog let me dress him up for pictures and did not seem to mind at all. In fact, he seemed to enjoy the attention. Now that I’m an adult I have two dogs who are really not into it. I think it’s okay to dress up your dog if the wardrobe doesn’t limit their mobility and if the dog seems to enjoy it. If you have a dog that does not like wearing clothing or scarves it’s best to leave them alone on a holiday like this. They already have a fur coat on anyway.
If you have a dog that likes to wear clothes, we’d love to see pics!
