They offer him pets and scratches while going over the popular canine. John is also seen wagging his tail out of sheer excitement and happiness. One of the women holds his leash as the pup reciprocates the warmth. The text on the video reads, “POV: Everyone wants to adopt you.”
It appears that John became in demand after emerging as the “Dog of the Month.” This title increased his popularity, with everyone wanting to take him home. Six days back, @puppiesandgolf announced John as their “August Dog of the Month!” in a post while appealing for his adoption. The page shared a carousel of adorable pictures of the canine. In the caption, they described him as a happy-go-lucky guy whose permanent smile is bound to brighten one’s day.
The caption continued, “John Wayne is affectionate, food-motivated (already knows sit!), and friendly with kids and other dogs.” Moreover, the pup was called “little jumpy when he’s excited, but a treat redirects him in no time.” Netizens in the comment section were also going gaga over the pooch. One user wrote, “LOOK AT THAT FACEEEEEE.” Another one commented, “What a cutie!!” A third user said, “Best Boy!”
