She recently arrived at the Queens ACC after a bit of a complicated journey. This involved some neighborhood kids and a well-meaning gift. Even though she is young, those droopy brown eyes tell a longer story.

The footage opens with Two leaning her entire weight into a volunteer for scritches. Then we see her exploring the shelter yard with a curious look in her eyes and her leash trailing behind her. Her walker was shocked to learn that Two is still just a puppy. She is just so well-mannered.
On her walk, a stranger stops to compliment her beauty, and the volunteer vehemently agrees. This shelter puppy has such a sweet soul that even strangers feel comforted in her company.
Two was originally a gift for someone who had lost their own beloved pet. Neighborhood kids thought a new friend would help, but unfortunately, the owner had vision issues and couldn’t provide long-term care. Despite the back-and-forth, she remains incredibly sweet toward everyone.
Her previous family noted she was kind around other dogs. This shelter puppy seems to understand that life is messy sometimes, and so, she just stays patient. She is waiting for a family that sees her quiet magic and gentle nature. One volunteer noted in the comments that she is like a “silky blankie” because of her fur. Another walker said she is the best girl.
Her information tells us that she prefers a house without small kids. In one of the last few shots of the shelter puppy video, you can see the fur baby jumping behind the kennel glass with excitement. She is ready to find her forever family and deserves only the best after such a long wait.
