A 911 caller thought she heard crying inside a Ybor City trash can and discovered the runt of a litter of four puppies thrown away like garbage. He was in a plastic Walmart shopping type of bag and the bag was tied shut. Rescuers put ice on the puppy to try to cool him down and now police want to know who put this puppy in the trash.
The mama dog and her 3 other puppies were found under a nearby shed and all were rescued by local animal control who say that the Mama dog seems grateful to be in good hands.
