This shelter dog, who is full of life, was dumped by his family. Meet Bruno, a five-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who was left at the shelter by his owners. Bruno was described as the “best dog ever” and incredibly friendly with “other animals in the home” in the owner-surrender form. He has lived with kids, cats, and other dogs and is extremely affectionate toward them.
Despite being such a loving and friendly dog, Bruno is now waiting at a shelter home for someone to choose him and take him home. All he wants is a family where he can spread love and positivity and receive the same warmth and affection in return.
Shelter dog loved his family, only to be dumped by the humans who called him their best boy
This shelter dog named Bruno loved his family deeply, yet was abandoned by them. At five years old, Bruno has already experienced what it means to have a home and people to love. According to his previous owners, he is great with kids and other animals and is literally the “best dog ever.” Despite that, Bruno is now waiting at a shelter for someone to step forward and rescue him.
The sudden change must be confusing for him. One day, he was with his family, and the next, he found himself in a shelter, away from the familiar faces he knew and loved. Despite the difficult time he has endured, Bruno has not given up hope and continues to make others smile. Caregivers at Carson Animal Shelter in Los Angeles shared that he is highly affectionate. Plus, being close to people makes him happiest.
He may be a big boy who doesn’t always realize just how strong he is, but underneath it all is a lovable dog who simply wants companionship. Bruno could use some help with leash training. But that is something he can learn with patience and someone willing to guide him. What makes him a great fit for a family is his sweet nature and the affection he has to offer.
Sadly, Bruno is now running out of time and could soon receive a deadline. He needs someone to see the wonderful dog he is and give him the second chance at life he deserves.
