According to the pet parent, the fur baby took one step at a time before completely trusting the human and the world. From car rides to walking on streets, Cactus got braver with time. The clip also shows the man standing by the pet’s side and helping him grow stronger. Meanwhile, viewers recalled Cactus’ puppy days and called the content “sweetest.”

Human shares rescue dog’s transformation journey

In a sweet and cute dog video on Instagram, a human talks about his rescue dog’s transformation journey. It begins with Cactus asking his owner, “Dad, what was I like as a puppy?” In response, the man smiles and says, “Let’s just say you have come a long way.” Then, old footage of the pooch proved the dog dad’s statement.

In the clip, puppy Cactus was terrified and “scared” when the man brought him home. The little one used to hide under the bed. Slowly, he started coming out, thanks to dog treats. Furthermore, the owner revealed that Cactus was afraid of “trucks” and “loud noises.” Thus, they struggled with their walk outside. 

So, the dog dad took Cactus’s entire pen to the bank, which helped the pooch get familiar with the outside world. Little by little,  the fur baby built confidence and grew stronger. Now, Cactus is not a scared rescue dog but a happy family member.
