You will find a certain kind of celebrity in every neighborhood, and on @krishomefinder’s street, she is a dog named Tula. In a video on Instagram, the dog comes running toward her neighbor for her “daily greeting,” as the on-screen text says, “My daily greeting from my neighbor s dog Tula!” and “Yes, I spoil her with treats, wouldn’t you?” And honestly, it is hard to argue with that logic once you see Tula’s face.
Dog comes running to greet neighbor and it may have something to do with treats
The video begins with the neighbor greeting the dog with, “Good morning, Tula,” just as the dog runs toward her, most probably for treats. Tula’s tail swings as she circles in place, clearly thrilled to be right where she is.
The neighbor keeps the welcome going with a few more check-ins, asking the dog, “How are you this morning? Hi, you good?” and Tula answers in the universal love language of wiggles and eager pacing. Then the video creator utters the magic phrase. She asks Tula, “Do you want some cookies?” and the dog responds with a high-pitched whine that sounds a lot like an enthusiastic yes.
Dogs are excellent at building connections. A friendly voice and a predictable payoff, which, in this case, is cookies, can make a simple “hello” turn into the best part of the morning. Besides, many dogs genuinely enjoy social time — the attention, the praise, the treats, and the little moment of connection — and so, just like that, you get a dog running toward her neighbor for treats and an affectionate greeting.
Viewers fell for Tula instantly. One of them declared, “Everybody needs a Tula,” while another called her “What a perfect girl!” A third user applauded the neighbor’s generosity, writing, “Love People Who Spoil Animals Just So Rewarding.”
And yes, most of us would actually hand over the cookies. This dog might be showing up for the treats, but the way she runs and reacts to the neighbor’s greeting shows that she is there for the friendship, too.
