But instead of giving it right away, Mom wants to ask her dog a question, much to his annoyance. And the pup’s reaction at that moment not only left the mom giggling but also netizens smiling. As a result, the reel has garnered more than 6K likes at the time of writing.
Video proves Golden Retriever isn’t interested in mom’s question, only the treat
When it comes to treats, dogs don’t like to wait around much. Even this English Cream Retriever, Nauti, was looking forward to enjoying his treat, but his mom kept asking him questions, much to his dismay.
The clip on @nautidoggo shows the mom holding the treat in her hand, but before giving it to the pooch, mom wanted to know how her dog “says ‘treat’ in doggo language…” but the pup “wasn’t having it” as he was interested in the treat and not in her question. Soon after the mom sits on the couch, Nauti urges the mom to “hurry up with the question!” But before she could speak anything, the pooch started howling, asking the “lady” to “get to the point.”
After this, when the mom shows the pooch his dental chews to ask the question, the pup interrupts again and howls. At one point, he even tries to grab the treat from his mom’s hand, but fails. Despite this, the mom once again tries to finish her question, but Nauti gets impatient again and asks the human companion to give him his treat “right away.” However, this time, mom requests the pooch not to cut her off and to let her finish her question.
But Nauti does not listen again, urging “stop holding” his treat “hostage” as he is about to “loose control.” Finally, the mom gives the pooch his treat after finally knowing the answer (sort of). The interaction between the Golden Retriever and his mom in the video for his treat left followers laughing.
