Great Danes Present Unique Challenges for Owner Making the Bed

Making a bed is usually a quick three-minute task. But everything changes when there is a massive Great Dane involved, or two. In this clip by @euro_dane_bros, Asa is lying down right in the middle of the wrinkled sheets, and it looks like he has no intention of moving.

We can see that the blankets are scrunched up under his big body and heavy paws. His mom, however, is trying her best to tidy up, but it is basically an impossible mission at this point. This bed is officially his territory, and he is questioning if it is worth the effort to make it tidy.

Great Danes make it difficult for owner to make the bed

The clip shows the struggle in real time. Mom pulls on the cover from under Asa, and he just stares at her sleepily. Also, he wants to know why his mom is even bothering. One viewer called making the bed “overrated,” and it fits the vibe perfectly. Asa just tilts his head to the left. Then he tilts it to the right because he seems confused by the whole concept of a tidy house.

Why make it when you’re just going to sleep in it later? He finally stretches out across the entire width of the mattress. Then there is Tiny Tim. He is the other Great Dane in the house. He is half-sprawled with only his front paws and upper body on the blankets. His mom mentions in the caption that he is acting like he is too little to jump up by himself, which is absolutely untrue. As someone in the comments aptly called it, “It is a total production” between the two brothers.

One dog is scared mom will take his blankies, the other is just being a baby, their mom said in the caption. One fan commented, “Such dramatic Danes,” and they aren’t wrong. Living with such massive dogs means every chore is a group activity. Asa and Tiny Tim have over 80.6k followers who love this chaos.

Hundreds of people have already liked the clip. One fan commented, “Mom!!! Don’t bother us!” It is a classic move for this breed to just take over the furniture. They honestly can’t help it with their size. But it’s their size that makes them so lovable, too. You just can’t stay mad at those faces, even if you have to sleep in an unmade bed tonight.
