Dog Sees This Item & Immediately Runs Away From Owner

A dog harness clip is making viewers laugh because Ollie acts like the harness is a personal insult. The tiny Shih Tzu and Maltese mix spots it, freezes, and then bolts like it is a game of hide and seek. The reel plays like a mini “short film,” complete with dramatic on-screen captions and quick cutaways. Still, the moment the harness finally goes on, he flips and looks ready to hit the streets.

Dog is not big on harness, in adorable video

The dog harness video was shared by the Instagram account olli.the.doggi about two days ago. It shows Ollie in his home as his owner prepares him for a walk. The caption states he runs when he sees the harness and again once it is on. The video uses “Mao’s Theme” by Liam Carney, adding extra drama to the chase.

It starts with text that frames it like a skit: “A short film: Trying to take my dog for a walk after doing absolutely nothing the whole day.” The owner lifts the harness, and Ollie instantly backs away. A caption pops up that reads, “Nope, not today,” as he disappears down the hall. He tries a new strategy next, ducking under a table while the harness sits in the foreground.

The camera finds him peeking out, and the captions do the talking. “Maybe he won’t notice me here,” flashes on screen as Ollie stays low. When the owner moves closer, the dog seems to accept defeat for a second. “What if I just sit here,” turns into “Ah crap,” as the harness gets nearer. Another scene shows him curled on the sofa with “This is my last shot.” This is immediately followed by the text, “Nothing to see here,” as if he is blending in. But finally gives in on the couch.

Fans replied fast. One wrote, “Haha this is a universal experience ?”. Another said, “Mine does the same ?”. A third added, “my dog gets so excited when i get the harness that it is kind of difficult to put it on.” Someone else admitted, “What a silly willy ? What a cutsie patootsie ❤️‍? What a precious boy ?”.
