A missing-dog moment turned into a comfort check for Cactus, a rescue pup, on a rainy afternoon. In a cozy rescue dog reel shared by @cactustherescue, Michael Henry searches the house. Heavy rain is falling outside, and he finds Cactus sitting in the shower. Set to Adrián Berenguer’s “Little Things,” the clip ends with the pup back on his bed. Henry speaks softly and guides him out. Cactus listens and follows.
Rescue puppy hides in the shower during heavy rains in adorable video
The Rescue pup video was posted one day ago on the @cactustherescue Instagram page. Henry says he could not find Cactus, so he checked every room first. When he reached the bathroom, Cactus was sitting quietly inside the shower. The post has more than 292K likes as viewers relate to the storm nerves.
On-screen text reads, “Found my rescue pup in the shower…” Henry crouches down and asks, “What are you doing in here?” He follows with, “Is the rain scaring you?” He keeps his voice calm and says, “Cactus, come here, you okay?” Then he adds, “Why don’t we go hang out on the bed?” Once the pup steps out, Henry praises him with, “That’s a good boy.” A cut shows Cactus stretched out on the bed, and Henry says, “Yeah, this is comfier here.”
In the caption, Henry says Cactus is a rescue and feels more sensitive some weeks. Cactus looks like a shepherd mix. He adds that the recent rain has not helped, so small things can feel huge. The Rescue pup video ends with him calm on the bed.
