The second Poppy hears that tiny end-of-meeting pause, her whole vibe changes. She springs to her feet, trots down the hall, and even scoops up a pink toy on the way, because proper greetings require props.

Sometimes she gets it right on the first try. Other times, she has to retreat because her dad has one more call. However, the second she senses the real sign-off, she’s off to grab a toy and sprint into the hallway.
