Once your furry baby decides to lay their paws on something, it’s officially theirs — that’s pet parenting code 101. So, parents know that they’re in quite a pickle when everything that belongs to them is also property of their four-legged companions. However, in a surprising turn of events, this video showed a dog — a tiny Poodle — returning all the things he had taken under the bed, catching his owner off guard, and the internet had some thoughts about it.
Instagram video shows dog returning stuff he retrieved
If, as a pet parent, you ever think you’re missing some possessions, you know who the real culprit behind the disappearances is. Shockingly, this Poodle, a dog named Prince, returned everything he hid under the bed in a hilarious Instagram video, reemerging with one stolen item after another and handing them over to his owner. Thus, the pooch proved it’s never too late to make amends, and one doesn’t have to be a Golden Retriever to retrieve stuff.
“Prince is returning my belongings today,” explained the subtext in the post, explaining the scenario. Meanwhile, the clip showed the little fellow taking things out from underneath the bed, a place only he could enter and leave without getting stuck. The first item on the list was a white sock, followed by a pair of briefs, one slipper, and another pair of briefs just before he went back in, only to return with the second sock, and then a third one.
Furthermore, the dog’s actions, retrieving items from under the bed in the video, left the owner completely surprised. There’s no way they were expecting such a gesture from their furball and called it an “unexpected turn of events.” However, commenters knew exactly what little Prince was up to. One user joked that he was likely “clearing the space to start over,” while another guessed that he was “plotting something” bigger, but couldn’t figure out what.
Some other comments took things to the next level, making the situation too hilarious. “He’s just reminding you how far he’s willing to take things if you get out of line again,” wrote one individual. Another added that he was only “Giving them back so he can steal them again.”
