In a previous video, this owner shared a little backstory about her dog always searching for croissants in a bush on her daily commute. The text explained that it began five months ago, when she discovered a rogue buttery treat in that exact same bush. Now, naturally, she expects to find one every time she crosses the area.
The clip explained how Daisy, the Golden Retriever, checked every day. Sadly, she never found another one and eventually got upset about it. However, her mom wasn’t going to see her furbaby unhappy and decided to do something about it.
The follow-up video showed the owner’s idea to give the dog an early birthday surprise, and it was everything she had hoped for. As part of her intricate plan, she placed a croissant in the same bush before they went on their daily walk.
Later, when they crossed the area, Daisy went and checked the bush and totally missed it at first. She did not notice for a couple of seconds, did a little back and forth, and received some guidance from her mom. Then, after a thorough inspection, she finally found it.
In the video, the dog appeared ecstatic after getting her jaws on the wild croissant, so much so that she instantly inhaled it. After that, she gave her mom the biggest smile and searched the bush again to see if there were more. It marked a lucky day for Daisy, who became visibly happier after finding and eating the wild croissant that her mom had planted.
