However, a viral Instagram video showed that this dog mom, Jennifer Berger, refused to give her British Bulldog, Eggnog, a free pass on her sister’s vet bill. In fact, Berge confronted her 8-year-old pooch, who was resting on the couch, watching her favorite show, in comfy PJs while munching on her favorite snack. However, it’s her response that will leave you gasping for air.

In the post, Jennifer Berger, who owns two Bulldogs, Eggnog and her younger sister Igloo, said her piece about splitting the bill. Ignoo recently underwent an extensive surgery. While she recovered, her sister did what older siblings do best — sat on the couch, ate her favorite snack, and watched TV. That’s when Berge addressed the elephant in the room. “So, here’s the vet bill,” she told the dog, who let it go in one ear and out the other. The owner continued, “You do live rent-free, and I do pay for your food, so… maybe get a job?”
The video also proved that the dog declined to comply easily after her mom presented her with the vet bill and advised her to get a job. In her protest, Eggnog responded to her owner’s demands with a fart and it will leave you cackling uncontrollably. Commenters also left hilarious remarks, further turning it into a giggling mess. One user channeled Eggnog’s inner thoughts, “Np, just paid the gas bill for you.” Several others pointed out the “I can’t be any more bothered” look on the pooch’s face.
Berge seemed doubtful how Eggnog would pay the bill. Moreover, by the end of the clip, she guessed that neither sibling would pay for the surgery. The Bulldog’s T-shirt was another key aspect and seemed tailored to the moment with an “unemployed but cute” print.
