DogTime.com Chosen Best Overall Website for Dog Lovers

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – (February 28, 2012) — DogTime Media, the largest vertical media community focused exclusively on pet enthusiasts, today announced that its anchor site DogTime.com was voted Best Overall Website for Dog Lovers by the readers of Bay Woof– the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier publication for local canines and their human companions.

Bay Woof magazine’s annual Beast of the Bay Awards recognizes their readers’ favorite dog friendly people, places and things in the greater SF Bay Area. This year they received a record number of final ballots – more than twice as many as last year.

“We are thrilled to have been voted the Best Overall Website for Dog Lovers by Bay Area pet owners,” Leslie Smith, editor-in-chief of DogTime.com, said. “With so many worthy dog-oriented organizations and businesses in the Bay Area, we are tremendously honored to be recognized by the readers of Bay Woofas one of them.”

DogTime.com was launched in September of 2007 by a group of writers, designers, engineers and tech professionals who share a passion for companion animals. Through expert advice, training tips, adoption tools, and more, DogTime.com has helped countless dogs and their humans to “find their wag.” Last year this team also launched CatTime.com to “find the purr” in all of us.

Complete Beast of the Bay results can be found in the March 2012 issue of Bay Woof.
