Family members tend to resemble each other, and even though Bubba and Rue are completely different species, they look like they might have been cut from the same cloth. But their matching fur color isn’t the only thing that makes these two siblings get along so well. When their owner brought Rue the kitten home to meet Bubba the Pit Bull, it was love at first sight.
Bubba has always been affectionate with cats ever since he was adopted as a puppy from a shelter six years ago. So after a recent move, his owner surprised him with a kitten of his very own. Rue was adopted from a shelter, too, and her new brother couldn’t have been happier to add her to the family.
The Pit Bull pup takes his job as big brother seriously. He’s very gentle with Rue, and within the first day of meeting each other, Rue was sleeping on top of Bubba as he napped. They’ve been a happy family ever since. You can follow the pair’s adventures on Instagram and enjoy all their adorable moments together.
Aw shucks 10k new fwends! Thank you for allowing us to share our cuteness with you Keep following our growing journey. We you all! #disisawesome #soexcited #newfwends #bubba #rue #bubbarue #bubbalovesrue #kitten #kittensofinstagram #catsofinstagram #pitbull #pitbullsofinstagram #dogsofinstagram #whogivesapit #barkpost #barkbox #rescue #adoptdontshop #adopt #sweetpicklesdesign #goodmorningamerica **Remember, Pit Bulls get a bad rep and it’s all for the wrong reasons. The breed is so loyal to their owners that they obey what they are taught or trained to do. In many horrible cases, there are owners out there that will train their Pit Bull to fight or be aggressive. The dog thinks they are doing the right thing, purely because they are programmed to do so. Hopefully Bubba & Rue will show how sweet, loving and gentle these guys can be when treated properly. @the_bubbstagram
