The Lion Clip - For those wondering "Why the Haircut?"
Anyone unfamiliar with the breed might have been a bit confused... Where is the dog's face? What is that ridiculous haircut? Those pictures are of the "Lion Clip," normally used for showdogs, though not always
I know this is a portuguese forum, but I'm guessing lot's of other people are curious. A few friends laughed at the haircut; two of them who know Belle very well, did not recognize that the dog pictured embedded in many Google news links was the same dog.

stop the chewing
my dad and i are about to get a porchie and don't want our things chewed to peices (obviously). wat can we do to stop this and how can we keep preocupied during the day so they don't.... another thing how long is to long to leave one at home for.

PWD new puppy, what to watch for?
Hi,
I've had several different breeds of dogs in the past, including working dogs, but I'm picking up my first PWD pup this weekend. Does anyone have any advice on breed-specific idiosyncrasies to look out for and either accommodate, correct, or even encourage?
