Golden Retriever dog names
We had a golden retriever/german shepherd mix who died at the age of 12 1/2, he looked exactly like a golden, except for his black snout. His name was Logan and everyone who met him would comment on it. One woman said, what a cool name and I replied he's a cool dog. He is missed very much.

It's easy to overfeed a Bulldog, but obesity can stress his joints, so he shouldn't be allowed to get fat. Keep your adult Bulldog in good shape by measuring his food and feeding him twice a day rather than leaving food out all the time

How much to feed your dog (in my opinion)
My 9 month old dog currently eats how much she wants. I feed her 1 or 2 cups 3 times a day. If she hasn't already finished eating what i gave her last I won't give as much. Though she does eat more than most.

drooling while riding
Our dog seems to want to ride as she jumps right in but as soon as we start moving the drooling begins. I'm not talking just a little drool, we have to take towels with and even then it can be a mess. Any help?

hip problems
I have a golden retriever who will be 8 yrs old. She is starting to show signs of hip problems while we are out walking etc. Other than losing weight, what else could be helpful to her?

Licking his wounds
My Golden (4 years) scratched his leg about a year ago. He licks the wound and irritates it non-stop. I've tried antibiotics, medications, an e-collar, ace bandages, etc. and nothing works. If I bandage it, he licks around the bandage causing more wounds and if I use an e-collar, he licks the tip of his toes until they bleed. I'm going crazy. Any ideas?

Dog Breeds...
I have two Golden Retrievers, and we are thinking about getting another dog. But we aren't sure what dog would be good for our current dogs, because we want them to get along well. Should we get the same breed or a different breed?
