When to muzzle your dog
I Recently had a 3 year old German Shepherd taken away from me and killed by the City of Ogden, Ogden, Utah He was playing with my children in the yard and bit a couple children....not bad bites kinda nips but did break the skin...so had to be quarantined for 10 days...that made him so crazy!!!...when I picked him up out of quarantine the Animal Services said I had to have a muzzle on him at all times...except in the house!! Is this appropriate for his playing around??

Dog Muzzles
My groomer uses a soft e-collar when she grooms my difficult lhasa who nips at her. It looks like a foam core covered with fleece and fabric - firm but soft and comfy. Made very well. I was so impressed I got one to use when Rocky (my shih-tzu) had his eye removed. It worked awesome, and he could lay down, eat, and do everything comfortably. I got mine at http://www.designerecollars.com - not sure if it's also in stores.

Dominance: Dog training's dirty word
My 4 month old black lab has alot of energy. Sometimes, after a walk, during a walk or when just playing in the backyard he will stop, look at me then basically "atttack" me... He jumps up starts biting at me. I have tried the "ignoring" thing and the "rolling on the back and "muzzling" thing as well, he reacts better to the dominance roll. Any suggestions?

Mature dog vs puppy
My 14 year old Bouvier passed away leaving her buddy a poodle terrier mix. We brought an 8 week old Bouvier into the family.Bouv is now 3 1/2 months and our older dog wants to spend all of her time in the laundry room--both are female. Aggressive Pomeranian
Cesar, I have 3 lap dogs that I got as puppies. 8 year old papillon that is 8 lbs, 6 year old papillon that is 16lbs and a 2yr old pomeranian that is 8lbs. in the last few months the pomeranian has started attacking the 8 yr old papillon and the the 6yr old papillon joins in which she has never done anything like that before. Aggression toward dogs
We have a 5 year American Eskimo who is food aggressive towards all other dogs. We adopted her from an animal shelter 4 years ago, so we do not know her history, but when we took her home we realized she was dog food aggressive.
I work with a dog trainer who has suggested the only solution is to feed them apart; however, we would like a more proactive solution.
Does anyone have a solution or advice about our problem?
