Sometimes I sit there and pet my dog and realize how bad he stinks and could really use a bath Then I look outside and am hit with the fact that it's winter in Colorado, a foot of snow on the ground and 20 degrees, probably not the most ideal time to let a wet dog out to go to the bathroom. Thankfully, EcoWellDog sent me a sample of Dry Dog Instant Clean by Happytails. A kiwi melon scented waterless bath replacement spray. Made with an all-natural ingredient calledOrdenone, it helps to get rid of those nasty odors and leave your pooch smelling like a dog you would love to snuggle with on a cold winter day. Dry Dog Instant Clean worked for my dog, Polar, and although the kiwi melon scent was a bit overwhelming at first, it quickly faded to a fresh pleasant smell! Dry Dog Instant Clean is also a perfect way to freshen up a pet bed or for when the snow begins to melt and your pup comes in with muddy paws.

February is National Pet Dental month, to celebrate EcoWellDog sent my dog their new Dental Care Kit by Happytails. The kit comes with an all-natural herbal gel "toothpaste" a toothbrush and a fingertip toothbrush to help get your dog used to getting his or her teeth brushed.
Surveys show that only one in ten pet owners clean their pets teeth on a regular basis, therefore more than 80% of pets over the age of 3 have some sort of periodontal disease. This can not only lead to bad breath and plaque buildup on the teeth, but also heart and kidney problems later in life.
My dog is only 4 months old and I am already trying to get into the routine of brushing his teeth on a regular basis. He has taken to the toothbrush nicely and actually sits quite still while I brush his teeth. He seems to love the taste of the herbal gel, which smells very similar to the toothpaste that I use.
Who is EcoWellDog, you ask? Two well-known pet companies, Cain and Able and Happytails, have recently teamed up to start a third company, EcoWellDog. They sell 5 different awesome brands of products: Happytails, Cain and Able, KISSABLE, Dogmacueticals and Dirty and Hairy. You can check them out online at EcoWellDog.

My pup has serious gum issues due to his teeth being displaced by the constant tremors he has from his Distemper .. he survived the distemper but left his mouth short of being 'totally functional'. My vet says the infection needs to be cleaned up and teeth permanently removed. $2000? Is this crazy? He is five and otherwise healthy. the same doc wants to sedate him to take his blood since he is so fidgety at the vet office.. again, crazy??? Help me please!!
