First command to teach dog?

• Puppy goes potty outside but still problems

  My puppy is 12 weeks old. Very smart. I live in an apt and I do have a crate. He usually doesn't potty in the crate unless he pees for length of time in there when gone. He will go out in morning example and do his business. Then I will come back in and then if he wants he goes in house. Mostly will just poop and displays he knows he did wrong, but I don't always catch him. He like to just go on my couch and doesn't seem to get the difference between my bed or the floor or his bed. But mostly the couch and corner. He is hyper so it's hard to know exactly if he is telling me something or just being a pup and aggravating. Am I missing a step? Is it too late once he has already gone to scold and take outside? I have made a lot of progress but maybe I am expecting him to get it right now because he does go outside when I take him. I feel like he looks at me when he starts to pee, I will scold and take out immediately to finish but I don't know if it's his age or defiance already.

• Dog Excessively Barking When Out Walking

  I walk three dogs together almost every day, a Sharpei (my mum's) a black large mixed rescue dog from the pound (mine) and a pomeranian which a relative was going to hand in to the pound so I took her. When I walk them the two large dogs are fine, no lunging or crazy barking at other dogs through the fence but the pomeranian is a nightmare, bolting around my legs lunging and barking hysterically. The two others seem to ignore her behaviour and just carry on walking. Thank goodness. I am very busy, so I walk them all together. I don't really have time to take her on her own long walk every day. I have tried walking her on her own but the behaviour is still there lunging and growling etc. I would be grateful for suggestions. Her behaviour in the back yard is good, she is happy, doesn't fight with the other two and is friendly with the cat. (possibly because its a friend her own size)

• new dog

  we found a black lab and decided to keep her while we look for her owners. we have a german shepard (female) lets just say they don't love each other. how long will it take before they stop fighting? the lab sleeps in my sons room and now she growls eveytime the other dog comes in there.

• need AKC name ideas

  I recently added another four legged family member. she is a reverse blue brindle female american staffy. The people i got her from call her Faith, which i like. I need help coming up with her registered name. any ideas?
