Going camping or to the dog park and need a little extra protection for your pup? How about a homemade flea collar! It’s safe and you can use them on yourself to keep mosquitoes and other pests away as well. Here’s how you do it:
You’ll need a spray bottle and a bandana or cloth.
Fill your spray bottle with:
6 drops lavender oil
4 tbsp water
Give it a gentle shake and apply it to the cloth then put it around your dog’s neck, nice and loose. You can wear it around your ankles or wrist as well. Lavender oil is a natural bug repellent.
No harsh chemicals and a lovely smell.
