Two Dogs Squeeze Into One Tiny Bed, Because There’s No Such Thing as Too Close for Siblings

Sibling relationships can be full of affection, patience, and the occasional disregard for personal space. Dogs are no different, and some seem perfectly happy to trade comfort for the chance to stay beside their favorite companion. That was the case for two Bull Terrier siblings whose cozy moment at home has amused viewers online.

Gemma was enjoying a peaceful rest beside the fireplace when her brother, Ghost, decided that her tiny dog bed looked like the perfect place to settle down. A video shared by @chelsearyn shows Gemma lying comfortably in the bed, which appears to have been suitable for a single pup.

Ghost, however, was not interested in finding his own spot. He walked over to his sister and proceeded to squeeze himself into the already occupied bed, eventually settling directly on top of Gemma. With Ghost taking over the little space, Gemma was left underneath her brother, while he appeared completely satisfied with his decision.

Her reaction may be the best part of the entire scene. Gemma seems to simply accept what is happening, giving a look that makes it appear as though she has resigned herself to becoming Ghost’s mattress.

There was also no practical reason for Ghost to choose such a cramped spot. Their owner explained that a much bigger bed was sitting right next to them, meaning Ghost had an easy opportunity to find somewhere more comfortable. But the larger bed apparently could not offer him what he really wanted: a place beside his sister.

The caption accompanying the video, “Ghost really loves his sister,” gives some context to his unusual choice. While Ghost may have sacrificed plenty of room for himself, he seemed more interested in being close to Gemma than having a bed all to himself.

Viewers found the siblings’ interaction both funny and relatable. One person focused on Gemma’s expression and commented, “The look of acceptance.” Someone else joked about their contrasting attitudes towards space, saying, “She really likes her personal space but ghost likes it too.” Another viewer appeared to speak for Ghost with the comment, “I fit right here!”
