A Labrador named Boozo went from having a home to having nowhere to go. According to the rescue group that shared his story, he was allegedly abandoned by his owners and left searching for kindness on the streets. His rescue video has since resonated with viewers, especially after they learned how his story ends.

The video by @hugsandrescues tells the story of Boozo, a canine abandoned by his previous owners and left to survive on the streets. According to text featured in the clip, the dog wandered around looking for help, approaching strangers in the hope that someone would take him in. Instead of receiving kindness, however, people would reportedly chase the canine away. The rescuer said some people even threw stones at him, injuring one of his paws before forcing him to leave.

The footage shows the Labrador roaming from place to place, seemingly searching for food, shelter, or someone willing to care for him. Having lost the home he once knew, he appeared unsure of where he belonged.

When the rescue team stepped in, Boozo wasn’t immediately comfortable around them. The rescuer explained that he was hesitant and not very friendly at first. Rather than forcing interaction, they gave him the time and space he needed to adjust.

Gradually, Boozo’s personality began to shine through. As trust replaced fear, he started interacting with his rescuers more freely. The video captures the touching moment when he lets his guard down and begins playing with them “like a baby.”

In the caption, the rescuer reflected on how heartbreaking it was that a dog who once had a home could be a victim of abandonment. Despite everything he had been through, they said he remained friendly with both people and other dogs. At the time, Boozo was staying in a boarding facility. However, the rescuer noted that an energetic, active dog like him deserved much more than life in a kennel.

Fortunately, Boozo’s story received the ending supporters had been hoping for. The rescuer later updated the caption to reveal that he had found a family. They also confirmed the news in a pinned comment, writing, “Boozo has been adopted.”
