Shelter Dog Eagerly Looks Outside Her Kennel, Pleading for Rescue Before Her Time Runs Out

An Instagram video shows a shelter dog pleading for rescue at a kennel. Named Elsie, the one-year-old doesn’t have much time at the shelter. She was once “adopted” but then was sent back for his “enthusiastic play style.” The friendly pooch has still not lost hope and is waiting for the right home. “Elsie is a 1-year-old Boxer/Pit Bull mix with a heart as big as her playful personality. She absolutely loves people, is full of energy, and walks wonderfully on a leash,” the caption reads.

In a shelter dog video on Instagram, a volunteer introduces a shelter dog named Elsie who may leave the kennel soon. An on-screen text reads, “Beautiful Elsie only has till 7/29 for someone to give her another chance.” The clip then shows the pooch jumping with excitement. It appears the Boxer/Pit Bull mix is an enthusiastic and friendly dog. Additionally, her eyes also carry a hope and a plea for rescue.

However, it seems to be the very reason why her previous adopter sent her back. “Elsie was briefly adopted, but sadly returned because her adopter’s small dog was overwhelmed by her enthusiastic play style,” the caption reveals. This also proves that the fur baby is lovable and has a lot of energy for adventures.

Furthermore, the caption also suggests that Elsie can be the perfect companion to those who love “adventures, neighborhood strolls, or just spending time together.” Hence, the shelter dog needs a home that fits her right. Meanwhile, the video suggests that Elsie has also not lost hope and is waiting for her forever home.
