Human Realizes Big Dog Has Always Known Little Baby’s Love, Even Without Words

There is a certain kind of friendship that doesn’t need any explanation. One look at this big dog and a little baby, and it’s easy to see they’ve already figured out their own sweet way of showing love. Their little girl may not be talking yet, but somehow her Labradors, Elsa and Ellie, never seem to need words to know exactly how she feels.

The video opens with the little one sitting happily on the floor in a pink beanie and onesie while one of the Labs rests her big head right across the baby’s lap. On-screen text asks, “She doesn’t talk. How do you know she loves her?” It feels like a fair question at first, but the clips that follow answer it far better than any caption could.

Soon the baby is sitting on a bed with her whale plushie toy while both dogs keep her company. One gently leans her face against the little girl, happy just to be nearby.
