In an adorable dog video on Instagram, a mom captures a special moment between her Golden Retriever and her toddler son. The clip begins with an on-screen text, saying, “This is why one of my dog’s nicknames is The Belly Rub Queen.” Then, it shows the kid giving belly rubs to the pooch, Skylar.
When the mom enters the room, she witnesses how cutely her son is gently rubbing the dog’s belly. She also finds Skylar’s antics funny, knowing the pooch can make them do anything. Noticing his mother, the toddler says, “paws went up.” The clip shows Skylar lying on his back with one of his paws straight up.
It appears the boy doesn’t understand why the dog is in such a position. So, the mom answers, “[Skylar] wants you to give her belly rub, [therefore] she puts her legs up.” With a little laugh, the woman coos over her son and the pooch’s sweet moment.
