After spending more than three months at the shelter, Lucious continues to wait for someone willing to look beyond his age and health challenges.

The 10-year-old senior quietly curls up on a soft blanket, watching people pass by as another day slips away without a family of his own. The clip begins with text reading, “POV: You’re 10 years old, good with dogs & kids and still end up in the shelter.” The camera then shows Lucious lying quietly in his kennel on a blanket, patiently watching his surroundings. The shelter describes Lucious as an older gentleman who quietly manages several chronic medical conditions while navigating the world. Despite his discomfort, he enjoys treats, loves spending time outdoors, rides well in the car, and reportedly lived peacefully with both children and small dogs before entering the shelter.
