Dog gives owner false sense of purpose during bush rescue
This “longhair cream mini dachshund” named Strudel might look all cute, but going through the video on @strudeltheween, it seems the pup is always up for some mischief. The clip shows the “12 month old” pooch hiding behind the bush and not coming out, even after her dad asks her to “let’s go.” Despite repeated warnings, Strudel just does not come out.
The parent even uses a leaf rake to scare the pooch while cleaning the bush for her to come out easily. However, despite this, the furball does not budge, leaving the mom laughing while recording the whole drama. However, after a few minutes of back and forth, the pooch finally comes out of the bush. And not from the side where her dad was standing, but from the other side of the bush, leaving her dad stunned.
This whole time, not once did the pup bark to show any discomfort about staying in the bush. She simply comes out of the bush and stands, unfazed by anything and pretending that nothing has happened. Looking Strudel finally out, the dad goes over and picks up his furry companion with a smile. “Not a day goes by where this 10lb sausage dog doesn’t test our patience as parents,” said the parent in the caption.
Telling about the pooch, the parent even mentioned that “Get a dachshund they said, it will be fun they said can’t help she has the prey drive of a tiger lol.” Nevertheless, the clip made the netizens laugh as a person supported the pup, saying, “I blame dad for letting the shrubs get overgrown. Strudel is innocent.” Another individual mentioned the dad’s rescue operation and said, “He looks very pleased with himself.” A third added, “Typical dachshund behavior.”
