Moving into a new house is always a huge milestone, but for the Derise family, it meant something extra special. Their sweet pup, Beau, has lived in homes without much outdoor space for five long years.
Over at @beaunosebones, his mom finally sat her Golden Retriever down to break the news about their massive new yard. It is the kind of update that brings immediate happy tears to everyone involved. Seeing a pet realize their world just got a whole lot bigger is a memory that sticks with you forever.
Golden Retriever can’t stop playing in the yard in his new home
The video starts with a really tender moment in the living room. His mom sits on the floor with Beau and tells him the news while her voice starts to break. She actually apologizes to him for it taking five years to finally give him a space of his own.
“Mama and dada got you a yard,” she tells him while petting his soft ears. Beau tilts his head like he understands the gravity of the situation. He even reaches out to lick her nose when she starts crying from pure joy.
It is obvious that this family has been through quite a journey to reach this specific day. Then the real fun starts when the sliding door finally opens. Beau doesn’t hesitate for a single second before jumping down the stairs and sprinting across the grass.
His dad and little brother join in the chase while the sun hits that perfect golden hour glow. This Golden Retriever looks like he was born to run laps around this yard specifically. His smile at the end of the clip is absolutely massive and genuine. He sits at the top of the stairs looking like the king of the world.
The video has gone viral with over 138K likes and counting. People in the comments are very emotional because the dog mom’s happy tears are so contagious. One viewer pointed out that Beau was already happy just being with them, but this is next level.
Seeing him sit in the grass against the setting sun is a beautiful sight. We even see his mama and dada hugging each other for finally being able to give their family this gift.
