Having a built-in best friend means you never have to sleep alone on the floor. Over at @nalabance, Nala and Buddy are busy showing that even when there is enough space available, sticking to each other is the best way for siblings to sleep. These two Golden Retrievers are famous for their goofy antics and their expert-level lounging skills. They recently shared a clip of their unique resting style, where they keep their heads glued together. It is a total mood for anyone who loves a good nap.
Golden Retriever siblings’ resting style melts hearts on internet
The video opens in the living room with toys scattered all over the floor. There is a perfectly good bed right behind them, but naturally, the pups choose to lie on the hard ground instead. Buddy starts off by resting his entire face directly on top of Nala’s. Both Golden Retrievers have their eyes open, but they look way too tired to actually move or play.
Buddy seems to think his sister makes a better pillow than anything else in the room and looks completely comfortable with this choice. Soon enough, the position changes while their heads stay stuck together. Buddy rolls onto his back while Nala stays on her side. He even rests a front paw on her shoulder to stay close.
But Buddy cannot stay still for too long, so he starts tugging and nibbling on Nala’s ears from his upside-down position. Nala gives a tiny snarl because she is trying to sleep, and yet she refuses to get up and leave him. They finally become still again and try to drift off into a nap. It is truly impressive how pups can find comfort in the weirdest positions.
One viewer noticed the tiny nibbles and called them very suspicious. Hundreds of people have liked this look into their sibling dynamic. Their feed shows they are always up to something goofy together. One fan just left a row of heart-eye emojis for the two best of friends, who, even with the ear-tugging, wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
